These are some of the frequently asked questions we encounter from parents and visitors. However, we welcome other questions and encourage you to call us for any further information you may need.

What is CFL, Inc.?

The Center for Learning, Inc. is an independent early childhood education facility that works to enhance the lives of students through an educational process that is nurturing and respects the differences of all students.

 

What are your hours of operation?

The Center for Learning, Inc. hours of operation are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday excluding holidays.

 

What age group do you accept and what grades do you teach?

We accept students from 12 months to 4 years of age for our Child Development Program and students in kindergarten through fifth grade for the Academy Program.

 

What is your academic curriculum?

The Center for Learning, Inc. provides an academically rich curriculum. Featured academic programs include:

Child Development
  • Sing, Spell Read and Write
    CFL Curriculum based on the SC Early Learning State Standards with an integration of STEAM and Foreign Language (Spanish and Mandarin Chinese)
Academy
  • Open Court – ELA
  • Math Expressions – Math
    SC Academic State Standards with an integration of STEAM and Foreign Language (Spanish and Mandarin Chinese)

 

What is your dress code?

Students are to wear a school supplied monogramed uniform shirts and khaki bottoms. Uniforms will not be worn on Fridays unless requested by staff or administration for special events.

 

Do you have After-School Care programs?

Yes, Center for Learning, Inc. does have an After-School Program that caters to our Academy only. (Currently, we do not except outside students. However, we are exploring this option of accepting outside students.)
